Medinet supported ophthalmology services at NHS Grampian from 2019 to 2023 with outpatient clinics, pre-assessment clinics, theatre lists and theatre training lists. Clinics and theatre lists operated 3 weekdays per week. 98.6% Patients with 6/12 outcomes or better.
Medinet have worked with NHS Grampian for several years helping to support waiting lists for cataract surgery. The Medinet team have worked very closely with the NHS Grampian team to provide a safe, efficient, highly professional service for patients. We have had regular, open communications throughout the contract and any issues or complaints addressed quickly and positively. The quality governance is of a high standard and evidenced through regular auditing. Over the course of the contract the team have performed over 2000 cataract procedures and 97.6% of patients (no documented co-morbidity) have achieved a BCVA 6/12 or better, which is a testament to the quality of care and service the team have provided.
