You may have recently received a letter from Medinet inviting you to attend an appointment. Medinet is working in partnership with your local NHS trust to ensure that you receive your treatment in the shortest time possible by reducing patient waiting times.
The care you will receive from Medinet will mirror the treatment that you would receive at your local NHS hospital. We offer consultant only treatment and all our consultants hold substantive NHS positions and have been fully approved by your local trust.
We reduce patient waiting times and all of the consultants that Medinet works with are current NHS staff who have been approved by your local hospital and who undergo our own stringent screening process.
One of our friendly clinic coordinators will write to you, giving you details of how to arrange an appointment to see one of our consultants.
After you have spoken to our booking team and made an appointment, our booking team will send you details of the appointment in a confirmation letter.
One of our specialist consultants will see you in your local hospital and all treatment is free of charge.
Following your initial appointment, your Medinet consultant will notify your GP that you have been seen and to inform them of any treatment or medication that has been prescribed. If you require a follow up appointment we will contact you to arrange this. With regards to results from any tests you may have had, the results will be sent directly to your Medinet consultant.
You will be invited back to see the Medinet consultant to discuss any findings from the investigations. Once this is done, you will be discharged with a full report sent to your GP.
Over the years, Medinet has reduced patient waiting times and have seen and treated over 150,000 patients from all specialties. We understand that you may need reassurance as to the success of our service, so we have included below some testimonials from patients we have treated in the past.
"I had a colonoscopy procedure carried out by your team and I would like to let you know that the treatment I had on the day was wonderful and the bast after care that I have ever received."
